In partnership with the Sacramento Tree Foundation this stunning piece was installed in June of 2024 as part of the Hanami Cherry Blossom Park at the Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park in Sacramento. This gathering spot is inspired by the observing of the transient beauty of the spring cherry blossoms and the lasting tranquility and peace that comes from this momentary experience. This act is referred to in Japanese as “Hanami” , or the art of flower viewing. Read more about this meaningful addition to the Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park on the Sac Tree Website: https://sactree.org/hanami/
