The River District and its community foundation is proud to announce the celebration of the third annual Coming Out Day and invite you to join us on October 11, 2025 at Township 9 Park. The mission of Coming Out Day is to create a sense of community and promote LGBTQ+ visibility while connecting community members with mental health services and support.
Coming Out Day has taken place in the evening in the past, but this year we are excited to have a DAY PARTY! This year’s event will be kid and puppy friendly so bring your friends, chosen family, furry friends, and allies.
Coming Out Day brings together local LGBTQ+ businesses, vendors, makers, artists, exhibitors, and creatives to sell their wares and local nonprofits to share resources. The event is a celebration, but it is also an opportunity to connect with mental and sexual health resources. Coming Out Day has included free art supplies from Broad Room, free STI testing, and a clothing closet hosted by the Gender Health Center in the past. We also support the local creative economy by hiring drag performers, comedians, and musicians to grace our stage.
