After false starts more reminiscent of bad football than soccer, a stadium for Sacramento Republic FC in Sacramento’s Railyards development is underway.
City officials, team executives and members of Wilton Rancheria, the tribe that owns the team, marked the milestone with an official groundbreaking Monday morning on the project site southeast of where Seventh Street meets North B Street.
