SacRT’s Green Line to the Airport project will extend light rail approximately 13 miles north from downtown Sacramento to the River District, the Natomas communities and the Sacramento International Airport. In order to extend the line, the proposed Truxel Bridge is proposed to cross the American River, connecting Sequoia Pacific Blvd in the River District with Truxel Road in South Natomas.
