Blue Diamond Growers said it has seen “strong interest” from prospective buyers of its century-old campus that spans 12 city blocks in Midtown Sacramento and the River District.

The almond growers cooperative announced last June that it planned to shut down and sell the Sacramento plant over the next 18 months to 24 months, with almond processing, storage and packaging operations moving to newer and more modern Blue Diamond plants in Turlock and Salida.
