The City of Sacramento Office of Arts and Culture Art in Public Places Program will hold a dedication event for Hanami\, the new public art installation at Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park. This event will be an opportunity for the community to meet the artists\, Jennifer Madden and Jeffrey Reed from Reed Madden Design\, and to celebrate this moving and compelling new addition to the City’s public art collection. Register at our Eventbrite: Hanami Dedication Registration link \nThe Reed Madden wife-and-husband design team are northern California artists\, trained architects\, landscape architects\, and also general contractors. This do-it-all duo specializes in site-specific artworks and the creation of community gathering places using their art.
